About me
I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with over 14 years experience working with adults, couples and children. If you are seeking treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, compulsive behaviors, family challenges, relationship issues and/or emotional/mental challenges you have found the right place. This is a collaborative process, which means, I work in partnership with you, throughout the treatment, adjusting the intentions and focus of therapy as needed. I see myself as a guide, a facilitator, educator, and support person to offer you a safe place where you can start learning how to overcome obstacles and live a more fulfilling life.
Regular psychotherapy may have limited results in behavioral change, especially when it comes to healing deep emotional wounds. Though clients may experience understanding of feelings and experiences on a cognitive level, this will still not make any difference because the midbrain needs to be able to modulate its activity in response to the healing. When this does not happen, because talking simply isn’t enough, then the behavioral changes are very limited.
Wall Street Therapy offers cutting edge services offering the latest scientifically proven interventions that can create new neural pathways and modulate this healing process to facilitate lasting behavioral changes. In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we offer IMAGO therapy, Body-centered Psychotherapy ,Core Energetics Therapy, EMDR, treatment models that focuses on attachment / trauma wounding therapy (DNMS), Inner Parts work (IFS), Brainspotting, Mindfulness Therapy, Imagery Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, Psychodynamic Therapy, Creative arts therapy, Sandplay Therapy, and other evidence based therapies. Healing modalities are also offered such as Family Constalations and clinical hypnotherapy.
We offer our clients a grounded, non-judgmental, safe space where they are able to explore their inner healing potential. Clients who are ready to transform their life but need the guidance to do so are ideal for this work. The psycho-therapeutic and dynamic work helps build healthy coping skills for life. When we work with children we use play therapeutic interventions, such as Creative Arts Therapy and Sandplay Therapy.
