Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
I am an experienced clinician with a speciality in bereavement and trauma therapy assisting adults and couples coping with PTSD, depression and anxiety.
With over 30 years of experience I am a highly trained therapist with a specialty in bereavement counseling. In addition I have training in spirituality and counseling. I use this knowledge to help adults who have experienced losses on a variety of levels including the death of a loved one, pregancy loss and fertility concerns, the loss of a relationship or health challenges.
The two most common questions I am asked about grief and pain are "Am I going crazy?" and "How long will this last?" Pain can feel overwhelming and without end. Well meaning family and friends feel you should just "move on". While there is no specific timetable for grief or one correct way to process pain with time it can be managed. Talking with a trained professional allows you the time you need to heal while receiving feedback, support and guidance. Through insight oriented therapy, mindfullness and relaxation techniques I offer a true mind, body and spirit approach as you navigate this new chapter in your life.
I am available for a free phone consultation and look forward to assisting you on your personal journey.
