About me
It takes courage for an individual to reach out for counseling, and I believe in walking alongside you through the counseling process. I provide a safe and judgement-free environment where you can be accepted as your true self.
I believe each of us has strengths and unique life experiences that can be used as building blocks to change and healing. The relationship I have with you is so important to me---I want you to be able to be your authentic self in therapy. Together we will put our focus on identifying what you need most---change, healing, to be heard, or anything else that brings you to therapy. Then we will move toward the change you desire.
I work with all people ages 8 - adult. One of my areas of passion is working with women who are currently or have gone through a breast cancer journey---currently in treatment, a survivor, a family member or caregiver. I am a breast cancer survivor myself. I also specialize in working with adolescents and pre-teens. I have 20+ years in the public schools with teens and can help with school issues, social or other anxiety, depression, self harm, post-Covid adjustment, and relationships, among others. I see clients on evenings and Saturday mornings. It takes courage to ask for help---so congratulations on taking that first step!
