Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced trauma-informed Associate Therapist. I work with women who experience anxiety in various stages of life: college, marriage, pregnancy/postpartum, parenting, career, relationships, aging, and retirement.
Are you always a little bit afraid that an anxiety attack is waiting around the corner? Have you been hit with surprise anxiety more times than you can count? Women experience significant anxiety during life transitions. Holistic practices can reduce anxiety tremendously, and I look forward to teaching you the tools to take your life back.
The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been perfecting over my career helping people just like you. I have dozens of them. My goal for you is to have at least five different tools and techniques that you can carry with you at all times. So no matter where you go, you'll always have access to discreet exercises that can quickly create relief. I am direct and solution-focused. We'll work collaboratively to address the anxiety attacks that are bothering you right now. We'll start with what's going on in the moment and how to get control over your body and thoughts. For the past 10 years, my practice has been focused on helping people get rid of anxiety. I have specialized training in CBT, EMDR, MBSR, and Expressive Arts Therapy. Together we collaborate on the best, individualized treatment plan for your specific needs. You'll gain resilience so that attacks don't continue in the future.
You are unique, important, and an expert in your life. You are deserving of support and respect. I uphold and value these principles in my practice. I believe everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. It can be really uncomfortable to ask for help when that behavior hasn't been modeled for us in the past. I make it as easy as possible because I know how difficult it has been for me to share my challenges with a therapist. And learning new skills can be interesting and fun, especially when we see immediate results, but initially can be a challenge to implement.
I'm here to support you through each step. I strive to provide an accepting, compassionate and calming space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. I accept you as you are and together we work to help you find relief from anxiety. If you want to learn more about how I can help, contact me for a free consultation.
