About me
Andrew Bindewald is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Addison, TX, who works with individuals across the lifespan, specializing in clients with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and peak performance. Many of his clients are highly intelligent and capable individuals who struggle with executive functioning, self-regulation, or managing the demands of their personal and professional lives. Andrew is particularly attuned to clients navigating pivotal life transitions, such as starting a chapter, adjusting to a demanding job, or coping with grief, where emotions like overwhelm, self-doubt, and frustration can arise.
Andrew’s approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Neurotherapy, evidence-based practices that emphasize understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, as well as how brain function contributes to overall well-being.
Welcome! I’m Andrew Bindewald, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and triple board-certified provider in Neurofeedback (BCN), Biofeedback (BCB), and qEEG Brain Mapping (qEEG-DL), based in Addison, TX. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I want you to know that taking this step is one of the most courageous things you can do for yourself. Whether you're dealing with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, other mental health challenges, or navigating a significant life transition, my goal is to provide a space where you are safe, supported, and empowered.
In our work together, I focus on understanding the unique strengths and struggles that make up your story. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Neurotherapy (often called Neurofeedback, Neurostimulation, or Neuromodulation) to help you identify patterns, build emotional resilience, and create practical solutions tailored to your life. My goal is to guide you in reconnecting with your values, building confidence, and finding new ways to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity and balance.
I believe that every individual has the ability to grow and thrive when given the right tools and support. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and tailored to your specific goals. If you are ready to take this step, I am here to help you move forward. Let us work together to create meaningful change and help you live the life you want.
