I believe therapy can be a rich and powerful experience of growth and change. I applaud you for taking the first step in the process. I am an experienced therapist who is dedicated to helping adults cope and recover from anxiety, depression and life's challenges.
My work is rooted in psychodynamic principles. By exploring past experiences we can understand how these may be influencing the present. I work with clients to increase insight, let go of old patterns, and make clearer and healthier choices in the future. I utilize CBT techniques to improve coping skills and self-efficacy. Using a strength-based approach, I help clients develop intrinsic motivation and personal growth which helps them to lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I have been in the field of behavioral health for over 20 years and had the privilege of working in a variety of both inpatient and outpatient settings.
