Amy Schweigert, PsyD, LP, LMFT
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Psychologist and MFT who works with first responders regarding job-related challenges and PTSD, as well as families on their fertility journeys.
Hello, I’m Dr. Amy Schweigert. As a licensed Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience, I’ve worked in various settings, including private practice, residential treatment centers, and within the child welfare system. I serve my clients from a place of compassion and authenticity to help them heal. In addition to working with the general public, I specialize in working with first responders and their families. Because of my experience, I can work with various ages, from children to adults, in individual, couples, or family sessions. I use empathetic listening and take a relational, systemic approach for all my clients. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and fur babies, cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers, or curling up with a good book.
