About me
I am a licensed professional counselor who has experience working with adults during periods of transitions and who is dedicated to helping clients cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I have experience working with adults, women, and adolescents in my work in DC as a therapist. My counseling approach is a warm, empathetic, and person-centered as I am passionate about meeting each client where they are and then collectively work to establish goals to achieve personal healing and growth. I also have experience working with women's health issues, depression, anxiety, grief and trauma, as well as autism spectrum disorder. I offer support to parents and adults as they navigate familial changes and life transitions.
I am a licensed professional counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). My practice method is collaborative while focused on identifying past and current strengths to empower my clients for motivation and towards healing.
Our mind and body are connected and I teach mindfulness strategies that improves mood and decreases stress. Relaxation techniques, exercise/movement, art therapy, identity diagrams, and other assignments are practiced inside and encouraged outside of therapy sessions for continued learning and progress. I look forward to meeting you soon!
