About me
Relational therapist working with teens and adults
When meeting with me, you can expect to be invited to talk about the topics and concerns most on your mind. My aim is to help clients and supervisees in finding their own path through challenges with genuine support and care. I believe that my clients co-create the therapeutic experience with me and that this empowers growth.
I have a special interest in identity development and changes in role and experience throughout our lifetime and especially in the transition into parenthood. Originally trained in anthropology, I have always been interested in the human experience and the forces that influence us. I utilize ideas from humanistic, developmental, family systems, feminist, relational-cultural, and psychodynamic theories in my therapeutic work. I have many years of experience working with issues of mood, trauma, grief, life transitions, and identity. I offer clinical supervision for pre-license clinicians and enjoy supporting professional identity development as well.
Please contact me to find out if we are a good fit for working together on your therapy goals.
