About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in New York, NY who is experienced in helping those who deal with depression, anxiety, and grief as well as those who would like to improve their relationships.
I help clients by providing them with a warm, nonjudgmental space to talk about their feelings. My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, meaning that I help clients make connections between what happens in their lives and their innermost beliefs, desires, and wants. i place heavy emphasis on having a quality therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual regard. My main goal is to help clients learn how to accept themselves and to practice self-care.
I earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I have a certification from the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. My style is collaborative, patient, and kind. I help clients to break out of negative emotional cycles and to move forward with their lives.
