My priority is taking on a nonjudgmental stance in order to create a space of comfort for teenagers and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem issues, and interpersonal issues.

Do you find yourself feeling confused, lost, or misunderstood in a world where the only constant is change? Are you having trouble opening up to the people around you out of fear of judgment? Asking for help can be difficult, but therapy can serve as the first step toward taking back your autonomy. Sometimes, to get what we need, we rely on the skills that have, out of habit, come to be like second nature. Our ability to get what we need does not always equate to using healthy and positive mechanisms to do so. Together we can identify different aspects of your identity, including your past, future goals, strengths, and support system to replace any negative coping strategies with more positive techniques.

My hope is that, in our work together, I will be able to help you reflect on your life up until this point, as well as provide you with a new lens on the moments that have contributed to the person you are today. Certain memories in our lives stick out to us more than others because they are negative, and as a society we gravitate toward the negatives, but my hope is that by using various mindfulness, writing, art, cognitive, and strengths-based approaches, we can begin to alter the story toward something that is more positive. I look forward to our paths aligning.
