About me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in children and adolescents. My passions and expertise include helping parents form warmer relationships with their children and reduce stress, helping young people cope with feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, or loneliness by learning about emotions, values, communication, managing their behaviors, and finding their confidence.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Health Service Provider to provide in-person and virtual therapeutic services in Tennessee, and I am PSYPACT approved to serve patients via telehealth in participating states. I have a passion for providing compassionate, productive, and affirming care through high-quality therapy and psychological assessments. I offer Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) for parents who want to learn effective ways to manage behaviors, reduce stress, and enjoy their children again! I also offer family and individual therapy for children, teens, young adults, and older adults. My background and training are strongly rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also have experience in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) for individuals with isolated and complex trauma. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and always seek to meet families where they're at. I practice from a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens and acknowledge your own diverse culture, background, and experiences contribute to where you are, and yet, do not have to define where you are going! Always seeking a strengths and values-based approach, I remain compassionate and empathetic to wherever you are on life's journey, and I will help you continue to take meaningful strides towards a fulfilled and empowered life.
