About me
I am a Certified Social Worker who also is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have experience in counseling services for substance abuse, mental health, anger management and domestic violence.
I have been working as a substance abuse counselor since 2005 and have worked with inpatient, detoxification and outpatient substance abuse services. I have been expanding my practice to include mental health services, particularly for depression, anxiety, anger management and trauma. I have a Master in Social Work and am credentialed as a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor, DOT Substance Abuse Professional, and am an Autonomous Domestic Violence Batterer Intervention Provider. I utilize a person-centered approach that includes motivational interviewing, CBT and talk therapy.
