About me
I am a psychotherapist based in Long Valley, NJ. My approach is honest, open-minded, infused with a sense of humor, and backed by years of experience and evidence-based practices. I specialize in helping adults transform their relationship with anxiety, turning what often feels like a barrier into a source of insight and direction. Through our work together, you'll develop a new perspective on life's uncertainties and challenges, learning to work with it rather than avoid or fight against it.
I became a therapist because of my own life experiences. I know what it's like to deal with chronic illness, help family members with cancer, and cope with loss, all while trying to manage work and relationships.
I believe everyone has inner wisdom that can guide them to growth and a better life. But it's hard to hear that inner voice when life gets busy and overwhelming. We're bombarded with messages about who we should be and how we should live. As your therapist, I won't tell you how to live your life. Instead, I'll help you cut through the noise so you can hear your own wisdom and make choices that feel right for you.
Life can be messy and confusing. Sometimes big things happen - like getting sick or losing someone we love. Other times, we just feel stuck or unsure about our life's direction. I help people deal with uncertainty and worry in new ways. Instead of letting anxiety hold you back, you can learn to use it as a guide. I use methods that are proven to work, but I also keep our sessions real and sometimes infuse humor.
I work with people who are dealing with anxiety, illness, loss, life changes, and the stress of demanding jobs. Whether you're struggling with relationships, feeling overwhelmed by work, or just trying to figure out what you want in life, I'm here to help. Together, we'll help you understand yourself better, build stronger relationships, and create a life that feels more meaningful and true to who you are.
