I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has a mission to help my clients dealing with anxiety, ADHD, and adjustment disorders focus on their strengths, learn about their passions and values and build confidence and empowerment to take on any challenge.
Hey there; welcome to the journey to Revealing your Wellness. Are you feeling stuck in life? Unsure of how to get to where you want to be? Making decisions can be difficult. Want help? As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor I can help you find your passion, purpose and confidence to make the decisions that are right for you.
I have experience working in the school setting, private practice, and within an integrated primary care model system; having had the opportunity to work with people at all stages of life. I believe I can help you find your strengths, your truth and guide you to have your own unique understanding of the physiological, cognitive, emotional, and social changes that people go through.
I have experience helping clients work through depression, anger, grief, life changes (relationship changes, career changes and family changes), stress and anxiety. To help you heal and grow, I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach that includes techniques found in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Exposure therapy, and Mindfulness-Based therapy.
My mission as a therapist is to help my clients focus on their strengths, learn about their passions and values and build confidence and empowerment to take on any challenge.
I grew up on Long Island, NY and moved to North Carolina with my husband of almost 8 years. When I am not working, I am staying present and grounded in each moment with my husband and two daughters. Practicing balance, while enjoying time in nature, having philosophical talks, and continuing education on healthy living.
