Welcome! My name is Alyssa Graham and I am a licensed clinical social worker providing individual therapy to adults dealing with a variety of challenges including: anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions/adjustment issues, stress management, inner-child healing and attachment issues.
I attended the University of Connecticut where I earned my B.A. in Urban and Community Studies as well as my M.S.W. with a focus in clinical work. I have experience working in a variety of settings including public schools, outpatient, state agencies, and intensive outpatient. Outside of work, I love spending time with my Labrador/Beagle, Greta, and have a passion for fostering rescue dogs!
Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you attended therapy before, it is important to choose a therapist that you feel connected to and has experience in treating the areas that align with your needs. I truly love the work that I do and view each client through a strengths based perspective. I believe that therapy can be a powerful force in creating a positive, lasting change. With warmth, compassion, and a bit of humor, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment to help foster personal growth and healing. We will work together to develop a plan that will help you find fulfillment, balance and ultimately, level up! I utilize a variety of techniques and treatment modalities in my work with clients. Therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach and each client deserves a treatment plan unique to their individual needs.
