Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced licensed mental health counselor who has helped a diverse group of people learn more about their anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, family dynamics, and relationship conflicts.
I began my journey as a mental health counselor when I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. From there, I attended Mercy College in New York City and graduated with a Master of Science in mental health counseling in 2014. I was exposed to diverse populations while volunteering at an LGBTQ+ community center in lower Manhattan and interning at Project Renewal in Harlem. Upon my graduation, I returned to Florida and worked in the substance abuse field as a therapist from 2014-2021, which is when I began working as a private practice therapist.
Throughout the years, I have been exposed to a multitude of diagnoses and a wide range of techniques to treat individuals. However, the most important thing I have learned as a therapist so far is that it is not a “one size fits all” profession. That is my approach to treating you, as an individual with individual needs and unique goals specific to you. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
