Allison Christopher, PsyD
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a clinical psychologist and my practice focuses on anxiety, depression, substance use, relationships, trauma, disordered eating, and other health concerns (e.g., sleep problems, adjusting to new medical diagnoses, etc.).
My primary task as a psychologist is to foster a supportive, collaborative environment where we are able to identify and work towards meaningful goals. I utilize a broad array of strategies and therapeutic methods that are tailored to your particular presenting concerns, with an emphasis on individual differences, cultural humility, and inclusiveness. I focus first on listening, and I acknowledge that you are the expert of your own life and experience. Together, we will collaborate to identify what is causing or perpetuating your distress and come up with strategies to improve your quality of life and help you thrive. Deciding to try therapy is a leap of faith, both in your therapist and also in yourself and your ability to improve your life. Thank you for letting me join you on this journey!
Currently, I provide individual, couples, and family therapy, and I offer both telehealth and in-person options. Please visit my website for more information and to schedule a consult.
