Alissa Wulff, LPC
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an LPC with years of experience working with a diverse population of children, adolescents and adults in various settings: community counseling centers, therapeutic day schools, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, university clinic, and private practice settings. I am the owner of Aurora Counseling and Wellness LLC who provide individual and family counseling services, along with clinical supervision for resident's in counseling.
I believe in the importance of addressing the mind and body connection, as each individual has their own life story and navigation of life experiences. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, personal identity, life changes, relationships, family and loss. Creating a safe space with clients is a very important factor in the therapeutic relationship. I approach therapy from a client-centered and systemic approach with extensive experience using evidenced-based interventions in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills (DBT). I view the patient as their own expert and addresses various aspects of individual wellbeing throughout treatment.
