I have over twenty years of therapy experience, specializing in grief, as well as work with adolescents and young adult clients, though I work with adults of all ages. I am dedicated to holding a space for people through their most difficult times.

My name is Alia Dolan and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working in a wide range of mental health settings and populations. These have included residential and crisis mental health care settings for adolescents, schools, hospice care, community-based mental health for children and adults, and private practice individual and group therapy services. My specialties are post-suicide grief, death and dying (both anticipatory grief and post-death grief), adolescents and young adults, though I work with adults of all ages. I am a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, and apply those skills to losses of all types. I believe in the power of change occurring through the working relationship, and I have had the honor and privilege of supporting people through some of their most difficult times. In my practice, I hold space and a listening ear for the stories that are hard for others to hear, and an understanding that therapy is a different process for each individual.
