About me

Sadness and anger are a sign that something's not working in our lives. Let's figure it out. Since birth we learned how to behave and survive in this world and how to get noticed and rewarded, for better or for worse. We absorbed beliefs about ourselves from important others and became programmed according to their expectations. But are those beliefs really true? Are we short-changing ourselves by living small and staying on a path that's wrong for us?

Each person is born with one-of-a-kind talents and gifts to share with the world and if you haven't found the joy of your unique expression, you will never be happy until you do. I believe the purpose of therapy is to grow up and step into our lives with fullness, freedom and responsibility. Blame is useless but awareness is priceless, it gives us the motivation to create change in our lives.. Bad things happen to all of us to one degree or another. What we do about it makes us either a victim or the hero of our lives. Choose hero.

I have lived a full life and I believe that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. I can relate to many of your challenges because I have had them, too.

I have been married, divorced and remarried. I have children, grandchildren and step-children. I have also cared for elderly parents. It is an understatement to say that life is challenging.

I have had multiple careers and interests and continue to use art, creativity and nature as inspiration. I still serve as an interior design consultant because it feeds my soul.

My great desire is to help you identify and remove the obstacles that are blocking joy and fulfillment in your one amazing life.

Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. We do what we do because that's what we learned. When we know better, we can do better. I use the lens of compassion to identify where things went wrong for you. Helping you find self-compassion is where healing starts.

I take great pride in the courage, progress and success of my clients, and I look forward to helping you, too. Take the first step. Get in touch to learn more. Everyone is welcome!
